14 DAY TRIAL // The time has come for those who’ve been anxiously waiting for Rockstar to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC to pre-order the highly-anticipated title. The game will be available through multiple channels, including Epic Games Store and Steam, but starting today, you can only place a pre-order via the Rockstar Games Launcher.
Red Dead Redemption 2 arrives for PC on November 5, but those pre-purchase the game via the Rockstar Games Launcher from now until October 22 will receive special bonuses that are only available with this version of the game.
The special bonuses include two free classic Rockstar Games PC titles from the following: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.
Also, all pre-purchases made on the Rockstar Games Launcher include free upgrades to the Premium Editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, with the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition both discounted by $20 each. Additional pre-purchase bonuses via the Rockstar Games Launcher include Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode, War Horse for Story Mode, Le Tresor des Mortes Treasure Map for Story Mode, Cash Bonus for Story Mode, and 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online.
Along with the pre-order bonuses, Rockstar also announced the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Red Dead Redemption 2. Since the game has been specifically developed to perform on a wide range of machines, players can expect it to run well on various configurations.
The minimum specifications are as follows: Windows 7 - Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601), Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300 processor, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB graphics card, 150GB HDD space, and a DirectX compatible sound card.
The recommended specifications include Windows 10 - April 2018 Update (v1803), Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X processor, 12GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB graphics card, 150GB HDD space, and a DirectX compatible sound card.
