Some users have complained about the issue

OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones are considered powerful and affordable devices, but it seems that some models have a very annoying issue. Multiple OnePlus 3 and 3T users have taken to Reddit in order to complain about crooked rear cameras.

Apparently, rear cameras on some OnePlus 3 and 3T models are slightly tilted to the left or right, leaving the impression that the smartphone wasn’t assembled properly.

However, the issue isn’t present on all OnePlus 3 and 3T units, and camera performance shouldn’t be affected. That being said, the phone has a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 16MP camera in the front. The main camera features phase detection autofocus.

Still, the crooked camera bump is annoying, giving the impression of a poorly built phone, not a powerful device with premium finishes. The aesthetics problem was noticed by some users, and truth be told, once you see the issue, you can’t unsee it.

OnePlus released the 3T Colette Edition just a few days ago

The issue was posted by a user of OnePlus 3T Colette Edition, which was recently announced and carries a price tag of about €479. It’s unclear if the user will be seeking a refund or exchange of his OnePlus 3T.

The phones are available at the OnePlus' pop-up shop at the Colette store in Paris and come with 128GB of internal memory. Customers also received a free set of Bullets V2 earphones for their purchase.

The new OnePlus 3T variant has the same specs as the flagship phone that was announced last year. It runs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and has 6GB of RAM. OnePlus 3T draws power from a 3,400mAh battery and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top of its 5.5-inch AMOLED display. It has a fingerprint scanner in the front and USB Type-C port.
