Publisher 1C Entertainment and developer Jujubee has just revealed the sequel to the real-time grand strategy game Realpolitiks will be coming to PC this fall. Fans of the genre will be able to buy on Steam and other digital platforms.

Unlike the predecessor, Realpolitiks II lets players choose from 216 contemporary nations before attempting to conquer the world. Moreover, the upcoming game introduces a set of new tools compared to its predecessor such as a new economic system, new buildings, trading policy, and special abilities for advisors.

Realpolitiks II brings a completely new combat system, which will allow players to fully control the battlefield, although they'll have to plan their strategy carefully, using weather, terrain, unit formation, equipment, and much more.

Two important aspects of the series - diplomacy and espionage have been completely overhauled with a whole new set of diplomatic and spying actions such as non-aggression and defensive pacts, military access, trade agreements, and more.

And to make things even more interesting for hardcore fans, Realpolitiks II will feature a Modding tool, allowing players to create their very own campaigns, scenarios, units, and nations.

The management system in the original game has been further expanded allowing players to create a communist utopia, a completely free market nation, or become a tyrant overseeing their citizens’ every step. In fact, there will be more than 1000 projects and technologies to choose from, before deciding which path to take.

The Diplomacy system has been improved allowing players to engage in advanced negotiations to establish new trade routes or military access to neighboring regions. The game will feature a completely reworked AI, and new Favor and Investment systems that let players influence other countries.

Last but not least, Realpolitiks II will include over 1000 new events ranging from minor provincial issues to a world-threatening meteor strike. These events might shape the world in unexpected ways so that each playthrough will be completely different.
