14 DAY TRIAL // Razer's portfolio becomes larger and larger each month, so fans of the brand might soon have issues keeping up with the new releases. Anyway, it looks like this time the company launched not one, but two mice that feature the so-called wireless HyperSpeed Technology.
According to the company, Razer Basilisk Ultimate and Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed gaming mice are 25% faster than any other wireless gaming technologies thanks to the HyperSpeed technology, which has been tested and proven by esports athletes.
The mice feature improved Adaptive Frequency Hopping which should offer a perfectly lag-free wireless connection, as the mice constantly scan frequency channels for any interference and seamlessly switch across channels in real-time.
The Razer Basilisk Ultimate packs the same Focus+ 20K DPI Optical Sensor as the Razer Viper Ultimate. Besides having the highest sensor specifications available to-date, the gaming mouse features new intelligent functions like Smart Tracking, Asymmetric Cut-Off and Motion Sync for greater tracking accuracy.
Moreover, the Basilisk Ultimate is equipped with Razer Optical Mouse Switches, which require no physical contact to send electrical signals to the PC, eliminating the need for debouncing delay and causing zero corrosive effects. Also, the mouse can run at peak performance for up to 100 continuous hours.
The Basilisk X HyperSpeed is fitted with dual-mode Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity so that players can switch between them to get an extended battery life of up to 450 hours.
The mouse features Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches with a durability of up to 50 million clicks, as well as 6 programmable buttons and onboard DPI Storage.
The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is now available for purchase for $150 / €170, but customers can also buy it bundled with the Razer Mouse Dock for $170 / €190. The latter can be bought separately for $50 / €60. On the other hand, the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed is much cheaper at just $60 / €70.
