The world of wireless earbuds is about to get a new member, but this time, it’s not the typical model that you’ll see everyone wearing around in their ears.

Nope, this time it’s a truly special earbuds model which is only aimed at the biggest Pokemon fans out there.

Razer has built what is officially called the Pokémon Pikachu True Wireless earphones, a new device that will launch in China on April 16 and be available for a little over $100.

At this price tag, it’s pretty easy to figure out that the Pokemon earbuds aren’t supposed to smash the competition with out of this world features, but to actually serve as music listening gear for the diehard fans out there.

Awesome charging case

So in addition to the design that features a yellow paint job with a Pokemon symbol on the earbuds, the new device also comes with a super-cool Poke Ball box that allows users to recharge them on the go. In other words, instead of carrying a boring earbuds case around, you’ll be seen with this really awesome Poke Ball (which honestly is the only good reason to buy the earbuds in the first place).

In terms of capabilities, Razer’s new earbuds don’t come with any breaking features, and they even lack noise canceling, something that so many people consider a must-have these days. Razer promises a battery life of about 15 hours per charge when carried around in the charging case or 3 hours of use time when listening to music or talking on the phone.

For now, it looks like only Pokemon fans in China will be able to purchase these new earbuds, but depending on how everything goes in this market, maybe launching it in other countries could actually be a thing to consider for Razer.
