Video game developer and publisher Ubisoft is announcing that it is preparing a Collector's Edition for Rainbow Six Siege, which is designed to appeal to fans of the series and to offer some unique extra real-world items with an interesting design.

The official announcement on the Ubisoft blog is offering a look at the entire package and explains that gamers will be able to get access to:

- the video game;

- a Season Pass, the contents of which have not yet been revealed;

- a special steel box case;

- the CTU Operators hat, a snapback with a flat brim;

- the carabiner, which is black and gray and also has a compass and a bottle opener;

- the Operator backpack, designed to resemble a military item, with a special pocket for a laptop, including seven badges;

- a 120-page long tactical guide for Rainbow Six Siege.

All those who place a pre-order for the shooter will be able to get into the beta testing period.

Ubisoft adds, "Pre-orders for physical versions of either the standard or Gold Edition of Rainbow Six Siege through any retailer will also get you access to a bonus gold weapons skin pack. Digital pre-orders of the standard or Gold Edition will get you the tiger weapons skin pack."

Rainbow Six Siege will offer a TerroHunt mode

During E3 2015, the development team showed off the new gameplay mechanics to the public, explaining that it has designed them to appeal to the fans who loved the previous installments in the franchise.

Ubisoft claims that the Artificial Intelligence included in Rainbow Six Siege is advanced enough to pose problems even to a well-coordinated team of humans who work together in order to achieve their objectives.

TerroHunt will not have respawns, and the levels are specifically designed to offer a wide variety of tactical challenges.

The shooter will also include classic Player versus Player modes and there's a lot of emphasis on destructible environments and on a variety of skills for the classes, each with its own tactical use.

Rainbow Six Siege will be out on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft on October 13.
