A page has popped up on Facebook and it is bound to get a lot of negative attention from fundamentalist Christians.

The “Virgin Mary Should've Aborted” page has already drawn in over 5,500 fans and it is currently a place of debate over the things that stand at the base of Christianity.

The header shows the Virgin and questions why she is placed at such high regard in the Bible. Catholicism recognizes Mary as higher than the apostles and all other saints.

“People have rights, ideas do not. No beliefs are above criticism. This page is a playground for fundamentalists and free-thinkers to challenge each other,” the description reads.

The comments on the page have been dubbed hate speech, Life Site News reports. The page has even spurred the creation of other accounts such as “Catholics and Protestants Against Facebook Discrimination,” with users trying to get the page banned.
