The fine folks over at Bend Studio have just added a new Game Plus mode to their Days Gone game. The new mode, which has been the most requested fan feature since launch, is available to all players starting September 13.

The update that brings the Game Plus mode contains a couple of other gameplay features like two new difficulty modes and even new Trophies. Players who finished the game and want to start a new one on a different difficulty like Game+ will be able to keep their previously earned weapons, bike upgrades, NERO boosters, skills, recipes, encampment trust and credits, collectibles, and trophy progress.

New Game Plus can be started from any save game where the “I'm Never Giving Up” storyline has been completed. Also, players can play NG+ on any difficulty level such as Easy, Normal, Hard, Survival, or try it in one of the two new difficulty modes added in the latest update: Hard II and Survival II, regardless of the previous difficulty mode.

According to Bend Studio, these two new difficulty modes are not specific to NG+, which means new players can experience them too. With the new difficulty modes come new trophies available to earn in NG+, Hard II, and Survival II modes, including one that is related to a mysterious new weapon from an agent that only operates in the shadows.

Furthermore, all perks from patches that players have earned in challenges will carry over to the main game, but they can be used in NG+ and all difficulty modes.

And if that's not enough to quench your thirst for killing zombies, Mondo has created a vinyl of the Days Gone soundtrack, which includes 25 unique tracks from the game. The soundtrack is now available for pre-order for $35 via Mondo's website and is expected to ship in November.
