At the end of each month, Sony announced the PlayStation Plus games that subscribers are getting for free. Typically, a total of three games are added to the PS Plus collection each month, and May is no exception to the rule.

If you've been lucky enough to get your hands on a PlayStation 5, then you can play all three games added to the PS Plus portfolio. Unfortunately, PlayStation 4 players are getting only two titles, at least this is what happens this month.

As the title says, the PS Plus free games for this month are Battlefield V, Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last, and Stranded Deep. PlayStation 4 players are getting Battlefield V and Stranded Deep, while PlayStation 5 gets one additional title, Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last.

In case you're wondering, Sony points out the PlayStation Plus benefit is not applicable for Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last on PlayStation 4, so you'll only be able to play the game if you own a PlayStation 5.

All three games revealed today will be available for PlayStation Plus members to add to their library starting on May 4 and through May 31. We don't think any of the three games that will be added to the PS Plus library next month need any presentations, so make sure you add a reminder to your calendar if you're anxious to play any of them on launch.

In other news, don't forget to add the PlayStation Plus games for April to your library – Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War. They will only be available until May 3, after which you won't be able to add them to your library for free. Keep in mind that Oddworld: Soulstorm is only available on PlayStation 5, but the other two games can be played on PlayStation 4 too.
