It's that time of the month again when PlayStation Plus subscribers learn about the game Sony is going to add to their libraries for free. August's PlayStation Plus lineup is all about multiplayer, as all three games challenge players to test their mettle against others.

First off, we have Arena: Hunter's Legends, a 30 player PvP and PvE combat-based battle royale set in an ancient age in which humanity battles each other as well as a growing legion of demons that have been unleashed upon the world.

In Arena: Hunter's Legends, players can head into high-risk, high-reward dungeons to encounter demonic foes, or they can face off against their Hunter brethren on the battlefield. The game will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Secondly, we have Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, a PlayStation 4 team shooter that lets players choose one of 20 fully customizable character classes, and perfect their playstyle as they earn new rewards for each victory on the battlefield.

Players can team up with friends, either on couch co-op or online, and take on a wide range of challenges, tackling enemy hordes in PvE, going up against others online, or fighting in the new Battle Arena.

Last but not least, Tennis World Tour 2 is another PlayStation 4 title where fans can play for fun or take on Ranked mode to improve their skills. The game also features a Career mode that lets you manage your season, your staff, your equipment, and your sponsors. Just like the other two games, Tennis World Tour 2 includes a multiplayer aspect where players can take on friends locally or online in singles or doubles games.

It's important to mention that all three games for PlayStation Plus subscribers will be available to download starting August 3 until September 6. Also, don't forget that you can still download July's PlayStation Plus games – Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, until August 2.
