The 24.3MP Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III compact camera features a DSLR-like design with physical dial/buttons for just about anything you want to do with it. Sporting Canon's accurate dual-pixel autofocus system, the PowerShot G1 X Mark III comes with an all-new EVF (electronic viewfinder) featuring a 2.36 million dot OLED.
Powered by a Digic 7 image processor, Canon's PowerShot G1 X Mark III also features a brand-new 3.0-inch vari-angle touch display that lets you focus on subjects with your finger. As for the shooting speed, the camera supports up to 9 fps shooting with fixed tracking, as well as up to 7 fps shooting with continuous AF tracking.

The Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III is equipped with a 24-72mm f/2.8-5.6 zoom lens that's not as fast and more versatile as the 24-120mm f/2.0-3.9 zoom lens Canon used on the previous model, the PowerShot G1 X Mark II. The camera can also record Full HD 1080p videos at 60fps, but it doesn't offer the 4K standard.
On the connectivity side of things, Canon's PowerShot G1 X Mark III compact camera is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC support, allowing photographers to share and transfer their photos and videos on mobile devices without any hassle. Best of all, the camera's software offers new time-lapse and panoramic modes.
Those looking for a more compact camera with a fixed lens and a big APS-C sensor from Canon will have to pay no less than $1,299 USD for the brand-new PowerShot G1 X Mark III model, which should be soon available in all stores across the globe. However, for this price, you'll get a better deal from the competition.
