Xbox Game Pass is the best deal in the gaming industry, but that requires you to own either a decent PC or an Xbox One. If you're more of a PlayStation guy, your only option is to subscribe to Sony's PlayStation Plus service that offers two free PlayStation 4 games each month.

Typically announced at the end of the month, the two PS Plus games will remain in your library until your subscription expires. The moment you continue your subscription, all PS Plus games that you added to your library become available again.

The main downside of the service is that you don't get access to the previous PS Plus games from before you started your subscription. This means that you'll have to be a long-time subscriber to have a lot of PS Plus games in your library.

But we digress and you probably want to know what you'll be able to play for free starting this month. Sony announced earlier today that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will be the PS Plus games for August.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a brand-new multiplayer game that will make its debut on PlayStation 4 on August 4. It features hilarious online competitive free-for-all and co-op challenges.

The second game offered for free to PS Plus members, Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered doesn't need any introductions. It's a remaster of the single-player campaign from the 2009 smash hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, fully remastered for a new generation.

Fall of Guys: Ultimate Knockout will be available for download starting August 4, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered can be downloaded from tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28 until Monday, August 31.

On a side note, Sony is offering a free PS4 theme to celebrate the past decade. The theme is available for free on PS Store for a limited time regardless of whether or not you're a PS Plus subscriber.
