PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat, as Sony has just revealed the next trio of games they will get to play for free starting next month. Before we get into details, if you're a PlayStation fan, don't forget that Sony's next State of Play digital event will focus on Horizon: Forbidden West. The event starts at 2 PM Pacific Time / 10 PM BST / 11 PM CEST.

According to Sony, during this State of Play, a 14-minute Horizon Forbidden West gameplay footage video will be revealed, all captured directly on PlayStation 5. So, if that's what you like, tune in on Twitch or YouTube to watch it live.

Back to the PlayStation Plus games for June, as the title says, we'll be getting Star Wars: Squadrons, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, and Operation: Tango. More importantly, all three games will be playable starting June 1.

However, while Operation: Tango and Star Wars: Squadrons will be available to PlayStation Plus members until July 5, Virtual Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown will remain available to PlayStation Plus members until August 2. So, make sure that you add these games to your library before these deadlines expire.

And if you forgot to get the PlayStation Plus games for May, you can still add them to your library by May 31: Battlefield V, Stranded Deep, and Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last.

Regarding the June PlayStation Plus games, it's worth mentioning that subscribers will only get the PS5 version of Operation: Tango. The same goes for Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, as PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to the PS4 version of the game.

Finally, Star Wars: Squadrons will be available for free on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms to all PlayStation Plus subscribers. In fact, PS Plus members will also have the option to play the entirety of the game in virtual reality on PS VR.
