ATLUS has just announced it's bringing the re-release of Persona 5 to Europe and United States on March 31, 2020. The enhanced version of the game is called Persona 5 Royal and includes a lot of new features such as a new phantom thief and a new semester of gameplay.

Another important addition to the game is the ability to gift items to male confidants in exchange for deeper relationships, an option that was limited to women in the first version of the game. The phone call system will be further expanded allowing players to have real conversations that will deepen relationships with confidants.

A brand-new feature in the form of a personal palace will be available in Persona 5 Royal, which players can decorate and listen to their favorite music tracks. Also, new locales like Jazz clubs and places where players can enjoy a game of darts will be added.

Personal 5 Royal for PlayStation 4 is already available for pre-order and comes in four separate physical editions: Phantom Thieves Edition, Launch Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Royal Deluxe Edition. Some Persona 5 Royal DLC bundles will be available for purchase separately as well: Kasumi Costume Bundle ($15/€15), Battle Bundle ($10/€10), Persona Bundle ($10/€10) and DLC Bundle ($60/€60).

The most expensive version of the game, Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition costs $100/€100 and includes the game and all DLC bundles plus 6 additional costume packs. Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Edition is available for pre-order for $90/€90 and includes and official Joker mask (comes with stand), collector's box, art book, soundtrack, limited edition Steelbook case and dynamic PS4 Theme code.

Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition is priced to sell for $70/€70 and includes the game and the “Personal Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle,” while the Launch Edition costs $60/€60 and includes the limited edition Steelbook case and a dynamic PS4 Theme code.

It's also worth mentioning that digital pre-orders will come with an original Persona 5 Royal theme as a bonus and all the original Persona 5 DLC will be free for all Persona 5 Royal players.
