Xbox Game Pass remains the best deal in gaming, so unless you’re a PlayStation fan or don’t have too much time to play games, there’s absolutely no reason to pay for it. Each month the service is getting new games added to the free library so that everyone can enjoy them.

October is a pretty amazing month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers and it’s not even over. Besides A Plague Tale: Requiem, which is available right now on cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S, Microsoft announced several other titles will be joining Xbox Game Pass throughout the month.

The first to be launched on Xbox Games Pass arrive on October 20 and they couldn’t be more in line with the spooky season. Amnesia: Collection (cloud, console, and PC), Amnesia: Rebirth (cloud, console, and PC), Phantom Abyss (Game Preview; cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S), and SOMA (cloud, console, and PC) will be available to play on October 20.

By far the most important game coming to Xbox Game Pass this month is Persona 5 Royal (cloud, console, and PC), which is scheduled to drop on October 21, so in just a few days. This is the definitive edition of Persona 5, featuring a slew of downloadable content included.

Finally, we have three other games coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 27: Gunfire Reborn (cloud, console, and PC), Signalis (cloud, console, and PC), and Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (PC).

Also, in case you missed it, Coral Island, a chill reimagining of farm sim games, is now available on Xbox Game Pass for PC (Game Preview).

Unfortunately, there are a bunch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31, so play them before the deadline: Alan Wake: American Nightmare, Backbone, Bassmaster Fishing 2022, Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition, Project Wingman, Second Extinction, Sniper Elite 4, and The Forgotten City.
