“They are perfect gentlemen considering the gene pool”

Pamela Anderson has a new book coming out, “Raw,” which she describes as a scrap collection that’s actually her most personal release to date. It includes behind-the-scenes photos, entries from her personal diary and poems she wrote.

The former “Baywatch” babe promoted it with an appearance on NBC’s The Today Show, on which she talked about the show that launched her to fame and her 2 boys with ex-husband Tommy Lee.

The boys are “perfect gentlemen”

Pamela has always made an effort to keep her 2 boys out of the spotlight, and until recently, she did a great job at it. A few months ago, she brought them out for a movie premiere, and photos from the red carpet went viral: Brandon, who was about to turn 19, became an internet star for about 15 seconds.

This confirmed to Pamela that she did right to keep them out of the spotlight when they were growing up, she said. Brandon wants to be an actor now, but she’s still trying to get him to see about school first.

“Tommy Lee and I have raised very grounded and interesting sons out of the spotlight, shielding them from the craziness of Hollywood, fiercely protecting their childhood,” she says. “I think it is very important. They are going to make their own choices in the rest of their life - and it wouldn't be their choice if we were dragging them down red carpets.”

She describes her sons as “perfect gentlemen” - even though they’re “genetically loaded” to be the exact opposite, she adds as a joke.

Pamela Anderson isn’t interested in the “Baywatch” remake

During the same interview, Pamela talked about the show that put her on the map, “Baywatch.” She confirmed she had heard a remake was in the works (with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zack Efron, in case you haven’t heard), but she said she would only believe it when she saw it with her own eyes.

As for the possibility of returning as CJ, don’t hold your breath: Anderson isn’t a fan of remakes and she believes “Baywatch” was very much a product of its times. You can’t bring it back to introduce it to an entirely new audience and expect it to be the same.

Plus, she adds, she would rather people remembered her as she looked back in the day. It sounds like she’s saying that she’s choosing not be part of this new “Baywatch” universe.
