14 DAY TRIAL // Chinese company Oppo announced its new flagship smartphone, the R7 Plus, several months ago, but the device went on sale only recently.
The R7 Plus is a high-end device that packs a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
If you don't see it as a flagship smartphone, then you should know Oppo has just announced an enhanced version of R7 Plus, which comes with improved specs.
According to a new report from fonearena, instead of the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, the enhanced variant of Oppo R7 Plus comes with no less than 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The rest of the phone's specs remain the same, but if you're not familiar with the Chinese smartphone, here is a quick rundown of what it has to offer.
The international version will be more expensive than the Chinese model
First of all, the high-end device boasts a large 6-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
Also, there's a 13-megapixel camera on the back, which features laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, Sony IMX214 sensor and video recording. At the front, the smartphone packs a secondary 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Speaking of which, Oppo R7 Plus offers both 4G LTE and Hybrid Dual SIM support, as well as other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS and USB OTG (on-the-go).
The R7 Plus comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and a large 4,100 mAh battery that features fast charging technology.
Last but not least, Oppo R7 Plus enhanced edition will ship with Color OS 2.1, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
For the time being, the smartphone is only available for pre-order in China for 2,999 yuan ($465 / €425) outright, but the international version will soon go on sale at Oppo's website for 3,299 ($515 / €470).
