The listing comes with a full list of specs for the V20

LG is expected to release a highly anticipated flagship today, on September 6, and it seems that an online retailer is a bit too eager to launch sales and has already listed the V20 on its website. Granted, the site doesn't seem fully trustworthy, considering that the device's image is the same as the one that surfaced online a while ago.

According to a Redditor (via AndroidPure), Overseas Electronics online retailer has already listed the LG V20 as available for purchase, just hours before its official unveiling. The listing provides full details on the smartphone's specs, but truth be told, they could have just been a roundup of the latest rumors, seeing how specs leaked yesterday as well.

The image that accompanies the listing is the same that leaked a while ago, showing only the front of the device, with a peak on its home screen and Google's In Apps shortcut, available only to the V20 for now. There's not much to say about the image, since it did surface just a few weeks ago.

Normally, when listing a new phone, retailers do provide additional pictures of the back and side of the handset, but this post just doesn't. The price seems to be $799.99, and there's still a slight chance that the listing could, in fact, be real, and customers could pre-order or even downright purchase the device.

However, I wouldn't bet on it, and one good rule of thumb is to wait until a device is officially launched worldwide before placing an order online at a third-party retailer.

LG V20 will be unveiled today in San Francisco and tomorrow in Seoul

The sheet of specs confirms what we’ve already known about the smartphone, namely that it will come with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 5.7-inch main display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, and a secondary screen of 2.1 inches and 160 x 1040 pixel resolution.

Moreover, it will run Snapdragon 820 SoC and come with a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. The smartphone will draw power from a 4,000mAh battery, and it will be the first device to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. LG has scheduled an event today for unveiling the V20 in San Francisco, and another event will be held in Seoul tomorrow.
