The smartwatch industry is getting ready to receive another member as OnePlus is now giving the finishing touches to its own model supposed to launch as soon as March 23.

The company has therefore dropped a new teaser to explain the watch is a product that was requested by the community.

It’s likely to come with sleep tracking, given OnePlus says it’ll help “take care of you while you sleep,” and will most likely bundle a series of health features.

Judging from the teaser, the watch will feature a round case, so it’ll overall sport a more traditional watch design.

“For years you, our Community, have been asking us to broaden our product lines, sending us great ideas and suggestions. You’ve helped us to create products that are user-centric and designed to make sense. With your help, we were able to develop and release new products like our Bullets Wireless earphones, OnePlus Buds, and even swag like our newest backpack. You helped us raise the bar, to bring you products that simplify life. Last year we took another step towards this goal with the launch of the OnePlus TV in India,” OnePlus explains in a teaser.

The device will debut alongside the OnePlus 9 on March 23, and while the company hasn’t offered any information regarding the price, it’s like to come cheaper than the Apple Watch. If anything, it’s likely to compete against the Apple Watch SE, which right now has a price of $279 in the United States.

“Now, as the clock is ticking down to the launch of our latest flagship, we’re excited to bring you an exclusive Community announcement... it’s time for something new. This fresh addition to the OnePlus family is healthy, punctual and even takes care of you while you sleep,” OnePlus concludes.
