14 DAY TRIAL // OnePlus launched its latest flagship, the OnePlus 3T, last year and made the phone available in two colors, Gunmetal and Soft Gold. Recently, the company has announced that a darker variant will be launched, one that would come with Colette branding.
After the OnePlus 3T Colette Edition was made available in Paris, OnePlus intends to bring a darker OnePlus 3T to more customers. The company’s newly announced OnePlus 3T Midnight Black is a limited edition.
Interested customers should hurry up if they wish to get their hands on the new OnePlus 3T. The limited edition phone will be available in just 250 units during a flash-sale at Hypebeast on March 24 at 4pm GMT. The smartphone’s price will reach $479 (£439) for the 128GB variant.

Consumers who don’t get the chance to buy the phone will have another opportunity to do so, as OnePlus has said that it will host a limited sale on its website for those in Europe and the US, but it hasn't actually revealed when that will happen.
To make the new color, OnePlus used three layers of ultra-thin black coating applied to the aluminum frame so that it would feel like metal. The company applied two sandblasting treatments and an anti-fingerprint layer afterward.
Other than that, the Midnight Black variant is the same as the OnePlus 3T inside. It comes with a 5.5-inch AMOELD Full HD display and a fingerprint scanner. The phone runs last year’s Qualcomm flagship platform, the Snapdragon 821, and draws power from a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging thanks to OnePlus’ Dash Charge.
RAM capacity is 6GB inside the phone, while it comes with a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, OIS and LED flash. The front camera is also 16MP and the phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating on its display to protect it from scratches and drops.
