OnePlus has made quite an impression on the market with the release of its “flagship killer,” the OnePlus 3. Just recently, OnePlus founder Carl Pei has given an interview to Gadgets 360 and spoken about the company's plans, reiterating that OnePlus doesn’t intend to revive the OnePlus X.

OnePlus was founded in December 2013, and the company has managed to make a name for itself on the smartphone market. However, not everything went as planned since the company's invite-only sales model was criticized after the launch of the OnePlus One. OnePlus 2 was meant to be the “2016 flagship killer,” but by the looks of things, it wasn't quite so.

The company took almost a year to launch the OnePlus 3 so that it could address shortcomings in the previous version and equip the next version with all the powerful specs. OnePlus founder Carl Pei has also stated that the company paid close attention to feedbacks from customers to the extent that even the smartphone's box was created taking into account suggestions from fans.

OnePlus founder praised the Dash charger on the OnePlus 3

OnePlus founder Carl Pei has also added that fans have said that the OnePlus 3 is better than its predecessor, the OnePlus 2. Simply by looking at the specs, it doesn't take long to see that OnePlus 3 is clearly an upgrade and improvement.

Carl Pei has also said that the OnePlus 3 comes with an improved design while also praising the Dash charger on the smartphone. The main advantage of the charger is that it doesn't heat up the handset as other charging technologies do. The official has also added that, because of the Dash charging, OnePlus 3 users can get longer shelf life for the battery compared to those using the normal chargers.

It's also important to note that Carl Pei has also admitted that the market shouldn't expect a successor to the OnePlus X, or at least not in the near future. He has also explained that the company pays attention to Apple products in order to make operations on OnePlus smartphones seamless and smooth. Last but not least, the official has also mentioned that the OnePlus 4 Soft Gold variant should be released soon.
