14 DAY TRIAL // OnePlus released its latest flagship, the OnePlus 3, not long ago, and the device has been in the spotlight ever since. OnePlus comes in a Graphite color variant while the Soft Gold one was also announced recently. Now, it seems that the company has briefly listed a Red version of the OnePlus on its official website.
OnePlus 3 currently comes in one color variant, Graphite. OnePlus CEO Carl Pei has recently stated that a Gold variant of the phone will be available after July 15, but it appears that the handset could also come in a Red color variant, according to leakster The Malignant.
As it turns out, OnePlus has briefly posted images of the Red color variant on its official website. At this point, it's unsure whether and when the color version will be available. Still, it does seem that this year's OnePlus smartphone will sell in multiple color options.
OnePlus 3 underwent multiple tests
OnePlus 3 was dubbed the flagship killer, and it has been subjected to multiple tests and comparisons with other premium devices on the market. OnePlus 3 underwent a speedtest versus the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, but it failed to keep up with the South Korean's flagship.
RAM management seems to be an inconvenience on the OnePlus 3. It's important to know that even the CEO stated that the company preferred to focus on battery efficiency to the detriment of RAM management, even though the device comes with 6GB of RAM.
But the speed test isn't the only challenge that OnePlus took on, as it also underwent a bent, scratch and burn test, and it performed beautifully. OnePlus 3 features a Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC, 64GB of internal memory, a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED display, a 16MP rear camera, and an 8MP one on the front. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and it currently sells for around $399, depending on the market.
