Recently, OnePlus has revealed that its upcoming flagship smartphone will be officially announced on June 20 and it seems that the smartphone will hit shelves on June 22. Amazon India posted a teaser on its website, revealing that OnePlus 5 will go on sale on June 22 at 4:30PM local time.

The web page spotted by Evan Blass also shows that the smartphone will run Snapdragon 835, but Qualcomm and OnePlus already confirmed this a while ago. It seems that Amazon India will sell the 8GB of RAM variant of the OnePlus 5, but the information was later removed from the web page.

OnePlus 5 will unveil the new smartphone at 12PM on June 20 and the event will be live streamed online. OnePlus will also set up pop-up events in New York and other cities from around the world.

OnePlus 5 will come with a dual-camera setup on the back

OnePlus is expected to debut two versions of the OnePlus 5, one with 6GB of RAM and another with 8GB of RAM, to be made available in certain markets. The smartphone is said to be more expensive than the OnePlus 3 or 3T and be the thinnest OnePlus flagship to date.

The smartphone is also expected to come with two 16MP sensors on the back, one monochrome and the other an RBG sensor. The device will also feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display and come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition, it might have 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, while its price tag might reach about $650.

Battery capacity inside the new OnePlus smartphone might reach 3,300mAh, but that remains to be seen. OnePlus has teased many features on the upcoming OnePlus 5, including the fact that it partnered with DxO Mark for the development of the dual-camera setup on the back. OnePlus also launched a poll for fans to pick the design of the retail box.
