Judging by rumored specs, OnePlus 5 will surely be one of the most exciting smartphones to arrive this summer, but the unveil date has yet to be officially announced. Now, a leaked poster seems to suggest that OnePlus 5 could be announced on June 15.

The poster surfaced on China’s biggest social network, Weibo, and shows a teaser for a June 15 event with the OnePlus logo in the top left corner. Although OnePlus already confirmed the retail name of the upcoming phone, the OnePlus 5 moniker is nowhere in sight on the poster.

Still, the OnePlus 5 announcement is expected to be the biggest event at the Chinese company in the next few weeks, so the poster most certainly refers to the upcoming flagship unveil. Take the information with a grain of salt, though, as there’s no confirmation at this point that this is actually an official poster. But if June 15 is actually the unveil date, OnePlus will start officially teasing the event soon.

OnePlus 5 will be the “thinnest flagship phone”

OnePlus continues to build hype around its upcoming flagship and the company has just revealed that OnePlus 5 will be the “thinnest flagship phone.” However, it’s not clear if OnePlus’ CEO and co-founder Pete Lau was referring to OnePlus flagships or all flagship smartphones on the market.

Still, OnePlus 5 must be thinner than the 7.35mm OnePlus 3T, the company’s previous flagship. But the thinnest phone that OnePlus launched was the 6.9mm-thin OnePlus X, but that doesn’t count since it wasn’t a flagship device.

OnePlus 5 is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack on the back and the smartphone will come with a very powerful rear camera, made in collaboration with DxO Mark and a fingerprint scanner on the front. OnePlus recently launched a poll and encouraged fans to pick the design of the OnePlus 5 retail box out of 8 possible options.
