14 DAY TRIAL // OnePlus is expected to announce a new flagship smartphone this year, one that is expected to feature high-end specs and a sleek design. New details and information about the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone have just been revealed.
OnePlus 5 has just been listed on OppoMart, revealing all specs for the upcoming phone and the retail price. The smartphone carries a price of $449.00 and features a 5.5-inch QHD display, although rumors from yesterday said that OnePlus wouldn’t make the step towards a 2k screen.
The listing also shows that the device will feature 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The dual-camera setup on the back will be comprised of two 12MP sensors, while the front camera capacity will reach 8MP.
Another listing points to 8GB of RAM and a 4,000mAh battery
A fingerprint scanner will be included on the phone, which is believed to run Android Nougat out of the box with OxygenOS on top. It appears to feature the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with Dash Charge 2.0 for fast charging.
The listing says that the phone will ship at the beginning of June. OnePlus 5 was also listed on GearBest with slightly different specs, compared to OppoMart. RAM capacity appears to reach 8GB with 64GB of memory and one of the two camera sensors on the back could be 23MP.
The front camera appears to have a capacity of 16MP, while other specs seem to be the same as in the other listing, except for the batter.y One listing suggests a 3,580mAh battery, while the other a 4,000mAh juicer.
Out of the two listings, OppoMart seems to be the most credible, but that doesn’t mean that the information should be trusted completely. Most likely, the listings are based on previously leaked specs and details that have been circulating for some time now, so they're most likely not accurate. As we draw closer to the unveil date at the end of June, the ambiguity over specs will gradually fade off.
