14 DAY TRIAL // Another day, another shocking piece of news for One Direction fans: just as they were growing accustomed to a world in which Zayn Malik was no longer in the band, they have to accept the reality that another of their idols is about to become a dad.
Louis Tomlinson and LA celebrity stylist Briana Jungwirth are expecting a baby together, People Magazine confirms. A rep for the singer was not immediately available for comment as news broke, but if it’s in People, it’s almost certainly true.
Louis and Briana are thrilled, but not in a relationship
The news is twice as shocking since, as far as the world knew, Louis wasn’t dating anyone. He and Briana were photographed out clubbing in May, shortly after he split from his longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder, but since those outings were followed by others, everyone assumed they were not romantically involved.
And they were are not. As per the celebrity publication, the two are very good friends who like to spend time together. They are not in a relationship and have no plans to enter into one even though they’re about to start a family.
That said, they’re thrilled at the idea of becoming parents.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother. It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer,” an insider explains.
The pregnancy is still in the early stages, but Louis has been there for Briana every step of the way, the insider continues. He hasn’t missed a doctor’s appointment yet, even if that meant flying across the world to be by Briana’s side.
Louis plans move to LA
As per the same report, Louis wants to have this baby with Briana and provide the best of the best for his new family. He’s already looking at real estate around Los Angeles, preferably in the community where Briana lives, so that he can be on call at all times.
Briana, insiders reveal, cares for Louis deeply and not at all for his fame and international heartthrob status. She hates the media attention and hasn’t been to a One Direction concert until recently.
That last hint is dropped by the same insiders as assurance to One Directioners that she’s not some golddigger looking to “trap” Louis by having his baby.
