The Oddworld series is perfect for the Switch, which is why a couple of them are already available on Nintendo's small console. However, if you're hungry for more Oddworld games, we've just learned that there will certainly be more.

Oddworld Inhabitants and Microids have just confirmed that Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty will be coming to Nintendo Switch in October. The game will be available both in retail and digital formats, but an exact release date hasn't been announced yet.

The good news is Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is not just a port of the game launched on PlayStation 4 back in 2014. According to Microids, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty war made from scratch especially for Nintendo Switch.

The game promises to offer “breathtakingly enhanced visuals and audio, grass-fed gameplay that is deeper and filled with piping hot delicious action, and a scrumptious story that if fans don't eat up, the Glukkons may.”

In Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, players must help Abe on his epic journey as he tries to escape his fate and save fellow Mudojons at RuptureFarms, and maybe even become something far greater than he imagined.

Even though it was launched six years ago, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is the most recent title in the series. Although developer Oddworld Inhabitants announced that it's already working on a sequel to Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty called Oddworld: Soulstorm, which should be released in 2020, we haven't heard anything about the new game since the initial reveal.

Oddworld: Soulstorm was revealed back in 2016 and should have been released in 2017. It was first delayed to 2019, and then again postponed to 2020. We have yet to learn more about the upcoming game, so if you have a Switch, make sure to pick up Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty until the sequel comes out.
