Nvidia is preparing for the fresh game launches and the company just released the new 362.0 driver that brings improvement for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Far Cry Primal, and Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition.

Before any major title is released, Nvidia pushes a new driver update out the door. That also usually happens when that game has support for Nvidia Gameworks. In any case, the next month will be a really busy one, and we’ll likely see more driver updates.

“Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix possible makes it into the Game Ready driver. Get the optimal experience for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Far Cry Primal, and the latest update for Dying Light,” reads the release notes for Nvidia 362.00.

What are the games that benefit from the new Nvidia driver?

Far Cry Primal is a new game from Ubisoft that uses the same engine from Far Cry 4 and that takes the player 10,000 years in the past, at a time when mammoths still roamed the Earth.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is a complete remake of the first game in the series. It’s not just a simple texture upgrade, as the developer took the time and remade pretty much every aspect of the original title.

Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is just what it says, but with a major expansion. The makers of this great game, Techland, took the time to improve the original game, that was launched just last year and expanded the experience.

As usual, if you have Geforce Experience installed, you will get the new update automatically. It’s also possible to download the drivers from Softpedia and install them manually if you don’t want to mess around with GeForce Experience, although it’s a great tool.
