Nokia has attended the MWC 2019 show in Barcelona with a bunch of new models, including a surprisingly-affordable device that will be available for less than $100.

Called Nokia 1 Plus, this device is specifically developed to tackle the low-budget sector with features that you most often found on more expensive devices.

First and foremost, it features a 5.45-inch LCD screen wit ha resolution of 854x480 pixels and 180 PPI and is powered by a MediaTek MT6739WW quad-core processor running at 1.5 GHz. The chip is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, with a microSD card offered for additional storage.

Needless to say, the specs aren’t impressive, but for just $99, there’s no doubt the Nokia 1 Plus delivers incredible value. The phone is made from plastic but looks modern and is available in several colors, like black, blue and red.

Power comes from a 2,500 mAh battery, and the recharging process takes place via a micro USB port, which is disappointing but not entirely surprising given the price point. A headphone jack is also offered.

Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2

Nokia used the MWC show to also unveil its latest upgrades to the Nokia 3 and Nokia 4 called… Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2

Both devices have been refreshed with a modern look that includes a notch, and the hardware lineup has been upgraded with new chips, namely the Snapdragon 429 and 439, respectively.

The two devices continue to be very affordable at $139 and $169, respectively, though they also come with features that may leave you wanting for more, like the same micro USB connector. However, with a maximum of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, there’s no doubt these phones come with great value for the money, with Nokia also promising at least two years of software updates regardless of the price.
