Rumors have shown that Nokia is working on an upcoming device called Nokia D1C, as the unit has appeared on multiple benchmarking sites over the past few weeks. A new listing on GFXBench seems to indicate that the device might actually be a tablet.

Nokia D1C has appeared on AnTuTu and Geekbench in the past, but the screen’s size wasn’t mentioned. The two listings did reveal that the device might be coming with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The GFXBench listing was spotted by Nokia Power User and shows that the device will come with a 13.8-inch touchscreen capacitive display, which technically makes it a tablet.

Nokia D1C could have 3GB of RAM and run Snapdragon 430 SoC

The listing also shows that the tablet could be running Android 7.0 Nougat at launch and include 3GB of RAM, with a 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.

These specs certainly point towards a mid-ranger tablet. Internal storage seems to reach 16GB, with just 9GB left for the user. Rear camera capacity might be 16MP with 8MP in the front for video calls. The main camera on the tablet would come with face detection and autofocus.

The specs seem to indicate that Nokia is looking to release a tablet with relatively satisfactory specs, while the company is also said to be working on two more Android-running devices this year, part of the premium range.

Rumors on the two other smartphones point towards 22.6MP rear cameras and IP68 certification against damages produced by water and dust. In addition, they could come with Snapdragon 821 processors inside and screen sizes of up to 5.5 inches.

For now, there’s not much reliable information on upcoming Nokia smartphones or tablets, but it is said that the company would announce new devices this quarter or the next. Therefore, more information should surface soon.
