They will be bundled in the Multiplayer Pack

Luigi's Mansion 3, one of the best Nintendo games launched this year, is getting two expansions in 2020 Nintendo confirmed earlier today. Both expansion focus on multiplayer, an aspect that was kind of overlooked by developers at launch.

The so-called Luigi's Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack includes both Part 1 and Part 2, which not be available for individual purchase, and can be pre-purchased starting today for $10 / €10 via the Nintendo eShop on Switch.

Just when Luigi thought it was safe to get a night’s rest, duty beckons as waves of new ghosts and mini-games arrive as paid downloadable content for the Luigi’s Mansion 3 game on the Nintendo Switch system. With two new expansions planned for 2020, there’s never been a better time to gear up for more ghost hunting.”

The first expansion will be released by April 30, 2020, and includes three new mini-games for the multiplayer ScreamPark mode. In addition, Part 1 of the Multiplayer Pack will add three new outfits for Luigi with matching floor themes and new themed ghosts in the cooperative ScareScraper mode.

Also, those who purchase the DLC will receive an in-game Polterpup light called the Flashlight Type-P. The bonus item will be usable in both Story Mode and ScareScraper, which is quite nice.

Luigi's Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack Part 2 is scheduled for release by July 31, 2020, and includes more content and features for both ScreamPark and ScareScaper modes. According to Nintendo, the DLC will add three more new mini-games for ScreamPark mode, along with three new ScareScraper outfits with matching floor themes and themed ghosts.

Keep in mind that a Nintendo Switch Online membership and Nintendo Account are required for online features, a service that's not available in all countries, so make sure you meet the requirements before making any purchase.
