14 DAY TRIAL // Nicki Minaj sure likes to keep her fans guessing: after hinting on social media that she and longtime collaborator / new boyfriend Meek Mill had gotten engaged, only to half-deny it later, she’s now teasing the world by dropping major pregnancy hints.
It happened this weekend in Pennsylvania, where she was performing. As you can see in the video below, she introduced Meek Mill in a way that makes it pretty clear they’re about to enter a new stage into their relationship.
“Make some noise for my baby father”
Nick and Meek Mill started dating a short while after she broke up with her boyfriend of 12 years Safaree Samuels after an explosive fight that actually saw her take a baseball bat to one of the cars she’d given him as a present.
By April, rumor had it that they were engaged, after Nicki posted to Instagram photos of a new, gorgeous and very generously-sized yellow diamond ring. The fact that she was seen wearing the ring for some time after rendered her denial of the engagement pointless, because the world was convinced that he had really proposed to her.
Based on footage from her concert at the weekend, it could be that these 2 are preparing for something more than just a wedding.
At one point in the night, Nicki introduced Meek Mill to the fans by urging them to “Make some noise for my baby father,” and the camera zoomed in on him and he appeared somewhat surprised that she would say this, kind of like when you agreed to keep a secret but you don’t.
At least, that’s how most celebrity pundits choose to see Mill’s reaction to Nicki’s unusual introduction.

Come to think of it, Nicki never made a secret of her desire to have babies - and to have them as early in life as possible.
She also said that she thought it would be best if she became very rich first, saying she wanted to amass a fortune of about $500 million (€455.7 million) first, so she could retire whenever she decided she’d get pregnant.
This way, she said, she would no longer be under pressure to work and she could dedicate all the time she wanted to her family.
Obviously, Nicki isn’t even close to this goal of hers, but if she’s really pregnant, she’s definitely in a position in which she could take a few years off, should she want it.
Then again, there’s also the possibility she’s just trolling the fans and the media.
