14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has just released its latest flagship earlier this month, and it seems that the company is working on two other smartphones, the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7, this year's editions. These handsets have just recently passed through China's certification agency, TENAA.
Samsung's Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7, 2016 editions, have just passed through TENAA, and the listing reveals some of their specs, according to Android Headlines. It seems that the Galaxy On (2016) will sport a 5-inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and pack Snapdragon 617 chipset with octa-core 1.5GHz CPU.
It will also come with an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and have 3GB of RAM. The smartphone will apparently provide you with 32GB of expandable memory and have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.
Rear camera capacity is said to reach 13MP while an 8MP front camera will also be there. What’s more, the handset will draw power from a 2,600mAh battery, and it will run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. It will be made available in multiple color variants, including Gold, Pink Gold, Black, and Metallic Gold. The Galaxy On5 will be 8.1mm thin and will weigh less than the Galaxy On7, namely 142 grams.
Galaxy On7 (2016) could come with a 3,300mAh battery
The second-generation Galaxy On7 has been spotted on TENAA, and the listing has revealed that the phone will have a larger display compared to its sibling, the Galaxy On5 (2016). Consequently, the On7 (2016) will feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and run Snapdragon 625 chipset with octa-core 2.0GHz CPU and Adreno 506 graphics processing unit.
The device will also have 3GB of RAM and come with 32GB internal storage. Moreover, it will support microSD cards of up to 128GB and will also have a fingerprint scanner in the home button. Rear camera capacity could reach 13MP with 8MP on the front, and the phone could draw power from a 3,300mAh battery and come with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. It will be thinner than the Galaxy On5, at 8mm.
