14 DAY TRIAL // The team working on the Xbox One home console at Microsoft is announcing that a new small update for the New Xbox One Experience that was launched in the fall of 2015 is now live, introducing some tweaks and bug fixes for the user interface and inner workings of the gaming platform.
Unfortunately, neither the official announcement nor the support page for the new release offers an actual list of the issues that have been solved, although the company says that it has based most of the changes on the feedback offered by the community.
Microsoft also makes it clear that no new features are being added to the Xbox One at the moment and that it will have more information about its plans for the NXOE in the coming months.
This lack of transparency is a little troubling, given that many gamers are interested in the changes that are being made via mandatory updates to their devices, and the team could make the effort to offer a full list of future update deliveries.
The New Xbox One Experience is designed to improve the user interface of the platform while integrating it with the bigger Windows 10 ecosystem, making it easier for users to find content, interact with friends, and stream their video game sessions.
Microsoft has said that it wants to introduce more tweaks for the firmware of the home console during 2016 to enable the developers to extract more performance from the hardware and to give gamers more interesting features to explore.
