Microsoft has just released new Windows 10 ISO images for build 17115, enabling insiders to start from scratch or skip straight to this build should they be running an older version.

Windows 10 build 17115 was released to users in the Fast ring last week before being promoted to the Slow ring only a few days ago, with Microsoft promising to ship ISO images as soon as possible.

These ISOs allow for a clean-install, which is something that many users want to do, especially if they’re currently running an older build and just want to try out the latest Windows 10 is supposed to bring with the Redstone 4 without going through every single update.

Furthermore, these builds are particularly important for IT admins who are trying to prepare for the release of Windows 10 Redstone 4 next month.

Redstone 4 has already entered the latest stage of development, and Microsoft is now giving the finishing touches to the update, with the builds that are being pushed right now to insiders bringing only small fixes and improvements in anticipation of the big launch.

Trying out Redstone 4 ahead of launch

Since Redstone 4 is already feature-locked, the ISO images allow the closest look you could get at the upcoming update, as no other functionality would be added in the meantime.

Windows 10 build 17115 ISOs are available in three different flavors, namely the standard Insider Preview, Insider Preview Enterprise, and Insider Preview Home China. Before this new release, the previous ISO images available for download were for build 17025.

Keep in mind, however, that these ISO images are only part of the Insider program, so unless you want to run preview builds, you shouldn’t use them to install Windows 10. The company will launch the Redstone 4 update next month and stable ISO images should also be released shortly after that for those who want to start from scratch with the new version.
