Microsoft will hold a new Windows 10 hardware event on October 6 to unveil new products such as Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, and Band 2, and according to a statement released today, builds for insiders will be launched after this conference.

Microsoft's Gabe Aul, chief of the Windows Insider program, previously said that a build could be released later this year at “the earliest,” hinting that there were bigger chances to see a new Windows 10 Mobile version going live next week.

Today, Aul has confirmed that this is indeed the plan right now, so new Windows 10 builds for both PCs and Mobile are expected to go live after October 6.

“At this point it seems pretty likely that we'd have builds after the event next week but not before,” he said.

So as we've told you a couple of days ago, a new Windows 10 Mobile build is very unlikely to come out this week, so look forward to a new release taking place sometime after the next week event.

Windows 10 Mobile final version coming in November

While Microsoft is planning to release a new version of Windows 10 Mobile to insiders next week, everyone's wondering when the RTM will actually ship to Windows Phone devices.

According to sources close to the matter, this is likely to happen in November, so Microsoft still has another month to run pre-release builds and fix bugs and other performance issues before the public launch. Microsoft hasn't yet confirmed this plan and full information is expected to be provided next week during the October 6 event.

The new Lumias which will be unveiled on Tuesday will go on sale in November, pundits suggested, and will come with Windows 10 Mobile TH2, which is the exact same version that eligible Windows Phone devices will get too.
