We're probably more than a month away from the official reveal of the Samsung Galaxy S8, but rumors about the upcoming flagship continue to flood the online media.

A couple of images allegedly showing the Galaxy S8 leaked in the last couple of weeks, but it's hard to take them seriously for the time being. Samsung made a plea to its employees and supply chain contractors to avoid leaking anything related to its next flagship in the press.

Most of the images of the Galaxy S8 that we've had until now are most likely just concepts made by designers after the information that's been leaked online in the last six months.

The last render of the flagship comes via case maker Ghostek. It's common practice for companies that sell smartphone accessories to receive details about an upcoming smartphone well ahead of its release on the market.

Sometimes they even receive images of the product, but they are not allowed to post them on their online stores until the device goes official.

Evidence that Galaxy S8 won't feature waterproof design?

However, it appears that some of these case makers are breaking the embargo, especially when it's about a product so important as the Galaxy S8.

Ghostek has leaked a picture of a case made for the Samsung Galaxy S8, BGR reports. The case covers the Galaxy S8, which is why we can only take a look at the phone's back and front sides.

The edges of the phone are completely encased, so we can't see if the version shown in the picture is the dual-edge curved variant of the Galaxy S8.

The Atomic waterproof case for Samsung Galaxy S8 could also be evidence that the smartphone will not feature waterproof features, although it might come with a water resistant design, just like the Galaxy A (2017) series.

As suggested in many previous reports, the Galaxy S8 will ditch the physical Home button, which is why the device in the render doesn't have it. Hopefully, we'll find out more about the flagship in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
