Windows 11 is getting updates at a really fast pace, and after receiving the Moment 1 update back in November, it now looks like users running the operating system are going to get quite a lot of improvements in the first half of 2023.

This is because the software giant is believed to be working on what could be the Moment 3 update, with the release likely to take place in May. Microsoft leakster WalkingCat says Microsoft describes this update as the one delivering “continuous innovations.”

As Neowin notes, another update could go live by the time Moment 3 sees daylight. Currently referred to as Moment 2, this update could be released in February or March next year, though this time, the changes might be less important, with the focus on rather smaller improvements and just a few new features.

In the meantime, Microsoft continues the rollout of Windows 11 2022 Update, as the company is yet to announce the general availability.

Back in October, the company accelerated the rollout of this new version, but an ETA as to when the general availability would be reached hasn’t been provided.

“We are entering a new phase of the rollout for Windows 11, version 22H2 and we are increasing its availability to all who check for updates on eligible Windows devices. Note that, if we detect that your device might have an issue, such as an application incompatibility, we might put a safeguard hold in place and not offer the update until that issue is resolved. Information regarding safeguard holds is available below on this page,” Microsoft said at that point.

“Users who are interested in experiencing the latest feature update can choose to do so by opening Windows Update Settings and selecting Check for updates. If your device is ready, you will see the option to Download and install.”
