Apple has been fairly busy this fall, and it looks like the company isn’t resting on its laurels, with the product unveiling frenzy to also continue in 2021.

The Cupertino-based tech giant is projected to take the wraps off a new iPad Pro as early as the first quarter of the next year, with a new report from Digitimes revealing the device would use mini LED.

The new tablet will come with a 12.9-inch display, and the mini LED panels will be supplied by GIS, whereas BOE will remain an OLED supplier for the upcoming iPhones.

The mini LED push

In addition to new iPads launching this year, Apple is expected to also release new MacBook Pros with an all-new design and mini LED panels. This is likely to happen in the fall of the year, as per Apple’s typical launch calendar.

And of course, 2021 will also bring us a new family of iPhones, but this time, Apple will stick with OLED panels, some of them supplied by Samsung.

There will be four iPhones going live next year, all of them upgrades to the current lineup.

Rumor has it Apple is also working on a foldable iPhone, but this particular model isn’t expected to see the daylight earlier than 2022.

The Cupertino-based tech giant will also continue its push for Apple Silicon, and it’s believed an improved version of the M1 chip could also go live in the first half of the year. Apple has become even more committed to its own custom ARM chips following the success of the M1, and the company will continue its strategy next year with more devices making the switch.

Additional information will certainly land as we get closer to their expected release date.
