Windows 11 is still in preview stage, but with only a few months left until the stable release gets the go-ahead, it’s pretty clear this easily becomes one of the most anticipated launches of the year.

As everybody knows already, Windows 11 comes with plenty of improvements, including new customization options and settings that put users in full control of the OS.

But an app called ThisIsWin11 promises to make everything so much easier and straightforward. Its purpose is as easy as it could be: allow users to configure Windows 11 by bringing all settings under the same roof.

“I have started a new project with ThisIsWin11 two weeks ago which was dedicated exclusively to getting to know Windows 11. The app has left yesterday the preview status and is now slowly expanded as a practical all-rounder for Windows 11, similar to Microsoft PowerToys,” the developer explains on GitHub.

Already available for download

The app comes with a total of five modules, the first of which provides a quick look at Windows 11 and allows you to quickly configure the essential settings. Then, there’s a module that helps optimize Windows 11, while another one allows users to remove pre-installed apps.

Needless to say, removing pre-installed apps helps deal with the bloatware, something that many power users hate, but on the other hand, we should expect many other apps to offer such functionality once Windows 11 reaches the stable status.

ThisIsWin11 also allows you to quickly install other apps, while also providing the necessary controls to automate several Windows 11 tasks based on PowerShell and community scripts.

Of course, the app is completely free, and you can try it out today if you’re already running Windows 11 preview builds on your device. The full version of the OS is due in October.
