The development team at EA Sports is keen to offer more information on the coming NBA Live 16 in order to make sure that basketball fans are able to learn more about the way the core game experience will be improved for this year's installment.

In an official post, the company explains that one of the core focuses was dribbling, which is better both from a visual and a responsiveness point of view.

Gamers will have more control when they cross over opponents and when they move in order to get to the basket.

EA Sports adds, "Players no longer simply hold the right stick to watching a player perform signature moves; they are now in control by moving the Right Stick to pull off moves with one-to-one control. This means that you can choose the moves and speed of how you perform your size ups. After sizing up a player, use an aggressive move by modifying with RT/R2 to give your player a wide attack angle with a crossover or hesitation."

When it comes to shooting, the jump move has been re-designed to make it easier for gamers to deliver a shot before the defense moves in, and there are improvements for shot timing as well.

Signature dunks are also included in NBA Live 16 for the most important players.

Gamers will also get better passing and screening

A new dribble handoff is implemented to give players more options when they move towards the basket, and the game also features touch passing, which allows players to queue a pass to hit an open teammate or swing it around the perimeter.

More passing animations are also part of NBA Live 16.

For screens, EA Sports has re-designed the entire system to make it easier to create options for attacking moves.

The new basketball sim is also offering an enhanced multiplayer mode.

NBA Live 16 will be launched on September 29 on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony, and the development team at the studio aims to deliver a title that can compete with NBA 2K16, the rival series from 2K Sports.
