14 DAY TRIAL // Ben Affleck spent last weekend with his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner, and their 3 children in Atlanta, where she’s shooting a new movie, while his supposed lover / kids’ former nanny, Christine Ouzounian, chilled at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles. He’s paying for her stay there, so she has no intention of making it any shorter.
In fact, if there’s any truth to the latest report in the New York Daily News, she has no intention of making anything too easy on Ben. Ouzounian has become a “serious problem” for the actor because she won’t go away and is even subtly threatening him she’ll go public with all the dirt she’s got on him if he dumps her.
The nanny is a “problem” now
Word has it that Garner pulled the plug on the Affleck marriage when she did because she’d found out he had been sleeping with the nanny behind her back, while they were supposedly on a trial separation but still working on their marriage.
Affleck didn’t want to break things off completely with the nanny, so he put her up in the hotel and assured her that he’d be back after a while, if she only kept a low profile for some time.
She did as she was bid but she grew tired of waiting, so she soon started leaking stories to the tabloids. Affleck is yet to break up with her definitely, so she’s hoping that the threat of having everything out in the open would convince him that he’s better off with her.
Affleck, on the other hand, has no interest in entering a long-term relationship right now - and he never did. He got her staying at the expensive hotel thinking he might come up in the meantime with an arrangement that would suit them both: she gets paid and he gets to have her keep her mouth shut.
The nanny is already getting interview offers
However, she can’t wait for ever for him to come after her, let alone when she has others who would pay just as much as Ben to go public. She’s already been contacted by Dr. Phil and Entertainment Tonight, which made concrete offers to pay her for her story in front of the camera.
If Affleck dumps her or somehow doesn’t up his offer to her, she will go public with everything, the report notes. She told producers that she still thinks she and Affleck could have a “future together,” but she didn’t completely rule out the possibility of doing a sit-down later down the road, if things don’t pan out as she believes they will.
“At the moment Ben has managed to keep her quiet,” an insider says. “Wait until she finds out that she was just a fling and he has no interest in dating her. How’s he going to shut her up then? We are patient. We will wait until Christine is ready.”
Proof that she’s “toying” with Affleck also comes from an Instagram account that ET says belongs to Ouzounian: she posted there a flattering paparazzi shot of herself with the caption “She’s just a girl and she’s on fire. - Alicia Keys”
Subtle, Christine Ouzounian is not.
