14 DAY TRIAL // MyTube! is one of the few popular unofficial YouTube clients for Windows Phone devices, which is why the developer is trying to deliver updates that bring new features and improvements, pretty often.
The latest update for myTube! does exactly that, so those who already purchased the application should expect a lot of new features and enhancements meant to improved user experience.
Keep in mind that the major update bumps both Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone apps to version 2.3, but their changelogs are entirely different.
One of the most important new features included in the latest update is the option to install the trial of the PC version with no restrictions (and vice versa), if you paid for the phone application.
Also, developers confirmed that the update adds support for bookmarking other channels' playlists to users accounts, which is another major addition to myTube!
New quality options for video download now show up more quickly and support for downloading additional qualities has been added, too.
A few bugs have been fixed, too
With the latest version of myTube! for Windows Phone, users will be able to see file sizes when downloading videos. The update should also add watch later support back to “Open in myTube” share page.
The official changelog also mentions channel thumbnails have been added to comments, as well as the option to warn users before playing videos on mobile data connection.
The application will now recognize if a user liked/disliked individual videos in the past. Another new feature included in the update is the ability to unrate videos (support for more regions).
MyTube! can now send notifications when a download is finished. The search box design has been improvements and the margins have been slightly adjusted.
The update should also fix a bug where “unfavorite” option doesn't appear, but also an issue that occasionally causes subscription videos not to appear.
Last but not least, a minor bug that caused subtitles not to update during some videos has been addressed as well.
You can now download MyTube! for Windows Phone for $0.99 via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and up.
