Motorola will host a press conference during the Mobile World Congress 2017 on February 26 to announce two new smartphones, the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. The specs of the phones, however, were revealed in multiple leaks over the past few weeks.

The latest leak confirms previous rumors and reveals everything about the two new phones. The G5 and G5 Plus were listed by Ktronix Spanish online retailer earlier today, according to Droid-Life. The post has since been taken down, but not before all pics and details of the two phones were revealed.

The leak tells us everything about the two mid-range smartphones, including the fact that they come with “precision-crafted metal design” bodies and feature 1080p displays. The Moto G5 and G5 Plus will be made available in two color variants, Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.

Decent and unimpressive specs

The smaller Moto G5 will come with a 5-inch FHD display with 441ppi, while the G5 Plus will have a 5.2-inch screen with the same pixel resolution, but 424ppi. Both devices will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and run Android 7.0.

Moving on, the standard G5 will have 32GB of internal storage, while the G5 Plus will offer 64GB of memory. A microSD card of up to 128GB can be used on both devices. RAM capacity is the same on the two phones, just 2GB, while front cameras reach 5MP. The rear camera on the G5 is 13MP, while the G5 Plus offers 12MP dual autofocus pixel camera.

The G5 comes with a 2,800mAh battery with rapid charging, while the Plus model will offer a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower charging. An octa-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 SoC will be packed inside the G5, while the G5 Plus will run an octa-core 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 processor.

Both phones will have water repellent coating, fingerprint readers and Bluetooth 4.2. When it comes to size, the G5 measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5mm and weighs 145 grams, while the G5 Plus is larger at 150.2 x 74 x 7.9mm and a weight of 155 grams.
