Samsung Galaxy S21 is the next big release in the mobile market, with the South Korean company expected to unveil its device in mid-January.

And since we’re approximately one month away from the moment this is supposed to happen, more information is obviously surfacing via unofficial channels.

Today, it’s the turn of WinFuture’s Roland Quandt to share more information about the Galaxy S21, with a set of press renders showing the colors that will be available on the upcoming model.

Qualcomm chip in the United States

The Galaxy S21 will be unveiled on January 14, and the actual shipments are scheduled to kick off later the same month.

In other words, if this is indeed Samsung’s plan, we should be able to get our hands on the Galaxy S21 approximately one month earlier than it happened in the past – the Galaxy S20, for example, was announced in February, while deliveries started in early March.

In the United States, the Galaxy S21 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon chip, something that isn’t necessarily surprising given this is the approach the company has used several times before for its high-end device lineup.

In the rest of the world. However, the S21 is likely to come with an Exynos chip, and it remains to be seen if there’ll be a performance gap between the two or not.

Previously, the difference between Snapdragon and Exynos has caused much controversy, as it was demonstrated that Qualcomm’s processor allowed for better performance.

One of the biggest changes happening on the Galaxy S21 is the addition of S Pen support on the Ultra model. This is believed to be the first step towards the demise of the Galaxy Note series, as Samsung wants to retire this model entirely, possibly as soon as 2022.
