It's not uncommon for gamers to jump back into a game that's been released one or more years ago after watching a video adaptation or reading a book. It happened with Witcher 3 and it is now happening with NBA 2K20, publisher 2K announced.

If you didn't know, there are six classic Chicago Bulls teams with Michael Jordan in NBA 2K20. Since Netflix aired ESPN's The Last Dance documentary about Michael Jordan on April 19, NBA 2K20 has seen a 131% increase in players using one of the classic Chicago Bulls teams featuring Jordan.

The Last Dance is a sports documentary miniseries produced by ESPN, which is aired weekly on Netflix. The miniseries has 10 episodes and it's centered on the Chicago Bulls team between 1997 and 1998.

Although the documentary focuses on the 1997-98 team, NBA 2K20 gamers can also play with the following classic teams:

- 1985-86 (Jordan’s second season where he set a record for points in a playoff game with 63); - 1988-89 (Jordan led the league in scoring); - 1990-91 (Jordan won his second NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP Awards); - 1992-93 (Bulls’ first threepeat and Jordan’s third straight NBA Finals MVP Award); - 1995-96 (Jordan led the league in scoring, won the NBA MVP Award and helped the Bulls achieve; a then-record for most wins in an NBA regular season, finishing with 72 wins and 10 losses); - 1997-98 (Bulls’ second threepeat and Jordan earned his still record sixth NBA Finals MVP Award).

To keep Chicago Bulls fans entertained, NBA 2K20 also features the 2010–2011 team, which includes the NBA MVP from that year, Derrick Rose. Although it's hard to believe that there are NBA fans who don't love Michael Jordan, at least the game offers alternatives.

For those who are too young to have seen Michael Jordan live, The Last Dance documentary is a great place to start educating yourself about the NBA legend.
