14 DAY TRIAL // This week’s edition of a popular US weekly claims that Kendra Wilkinson is thisclose to filing for divorce from Hank Baskett because, apparently, she still can’t get over the obviously fake cheating scandal that involved a transgender model named Ava London.
Based on the latest episode of their reality show Kendra on Top, they are experiencing marital issues again, indeed.
Kendra is the one apologizing now
Kendra and Hank monetized on the alleged cheating scandal, which turned out to be a misunderstanding, by appearing on a couple of reality shows, in addition to their own. Kendra on Top, their WEtv show, isn’t done exploring this storyline, as the video below shows.
On the latest episode, Kendra gets a stern tell-off from Hank, after she fails to respect the curfew she had agreed to before going for a night out with the girls. You can see their tense exchange in the video below, but what it does not show is that Kendra actually spent the time she didn’t spend with Hank flirting with a handsome stranger.
Once she got home, she found Hank waiting for her, angry that he had missed his flight because of her being late. The fact that she didn’t even bother to pick up his calls made him even angrier, to the point where he cut her off mid-explanation to tell her he had had enough.
His conclusion after the fight is that Kendra has too little respect for him, presumably because she still can’t trust him after the Ava London scandal, even though he explained to her he never “cheated” on her as suggested in the press.
Again, this new on-camera tense moment comes conveniently after reports of marital trouble.
Banking on scandal
The so-called scandal broke in June 2014, when transgender model London went to the press with the story. She claimed that, while they did not have actual relations, there was touching and kissing, which constituted “cheating.”
At the time, Kendra was 7 months pregnant with Hank’s child, but the story didn’t come out until months later, just as she and her husband were getting ready to shoot another season of their reality show.
London eventually slipped out of the spotlight, but not before releasing all kinds of compromising information on Hank, while he and Kendra kept mum. That was because they were saving the best for the cameras: she did an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother UK and they did Celebrity Marriage Boot Camp together.
On the latter, they claimed that Hank never cheated on Kendra, but admitted to going to London’s house to “buy weed.” He thought she was a woman, but he found out that wasn’t the case once there.
Based on the new development, the trust that was broken with the scandal is still broken.
