Developer Capcom announced plans to launch multiple title updates for the recently released Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion. Early this week, the Japanese company revealed the first major title update for the game, while the rest of the roadmap was unveiled during the “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Special Stage” event Tokyo Game Show 2019.

These title updates add new monsters to the game, as well as collaboration quests with other smash hits like Horizon Zero Dawn. According to the roadmap revealed by Capcom, the first Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion major title update arrives on October 10.

The update brings an additional monster – Rajang, and some changes to My House that haven't been detailed yet. Rajang is described as “an ultra-aggressive creature that few have a chance of surviving against.” The monster “sports powerful arms that pack a punch, and turns gold when angry,” which sounds kind of terrifying.

The second title update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne drops in November and includes a Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wild collaboration quest. This isn't the first time that Capcom offers Horizon Zero Dawn-content to Monster Hunter World players, but it's the first time we're getting something related to The Frozen Wild expansion.

A third title update will be launched by the end of the year, Capcom says. In December, the Japanese developer will add another monster to the roster of creatures that players can hunt. Also, the month of December will be dedicated to the Astera Festival, a new event that will bring lots of activities. Finally, two new Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds collaboration quests will be available during the last month of the year.

The updates will continue in 2020, as Capcom plans to celebrate Monster Hunter: World two-year anniversary as early as January. More details about the content to be added next year will be revealed at a later date.

Monster Hunter: World is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but Iceborne expansion is only out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release due to arrive in January 2020.
