And yet, you shouldn’t expect it to really happen

One of the things that are often criticized about Windows 10 is the user interface, which according to some users, isn’t evolving as fast as it’s supposed to.

In other words, while Microsoft wants Windows 10 to feel like a modern operating system from one end to another, there are several parts that still retain the legacy Windows experience. And without a doubt, living proof in this regard is the old-school icon pack which users come across every now and then when working on Windows 10.

The Fluent Design language has been well received by the user community, only that Microsoft uses it to overhaul Windows 10 gradually.

So while the company has embarked onto an adventure that would eventually refresh Windows 10 entirely, the whole thing happens in stages, with new improvements rolled out every now and then.

Hello, modern concept!

As it typically happens in the world of Windows 10, the skilled designers in the Windows community come up with their very own design proposals, many of which look absolutely brilliant. This is the case of this User Account Control redesign, which was created by Zee-Al-Eid Ahmad Rana and shared on reddit a few hours ago.

The new UI certainly looks modern, albeit as someone says on reddit, its design doesn’t emphasize how dangerous it could be to grant some apps with access to the device. The UAC prompt is there to warn of apps that could harm the computer, so it needs to make the security implications of clicking the yes button very clear.

On the other hand, Microsoft could very well further polish this idea and make it better align with the Windows 10 look and feel, but for the time being, it’s better not to hold your breath for anything like this to happen in the OS.
