14 DAY TRIAL // Miranda Lambert’s 4-year marriage to Blake Shelton ended this summer in a very quick and apparently drama-free (that we knew of) divorce. Even though they did their best to put up a united front for the media, rumor has it that Miranda’s cheating led to the separation.
This would explain why the latest report in the print issue of Star magazine (story via CB) makes it sound as if she’s not exactly broken up about the end of her marriage. Admittedly, Miranda has moved on - and with a married man, no less.
Miranda wrecks Dierks Bentley’s marriage
Miranda and Dierks Bentley have been friends for a long time and they even worked together. Star says that they’ve always enjoyed going out to get drunk together, but that their relationship has evolved quickly since her divorce.
His marriage to Cassidy Black is also in trouble and he’s turning to her for comfort. Black, on the other hand, is not yet ready to call it quits and she picked up that something was happening between her husband and Miranda.
Star says that, on October 6, in Nashville, Miranda and Dierks were seen together in public, acting very much like a real couple. They were kissing and holding hands, and he didn’t have his wedding ring on. However, he and Black are still together.
Bentley’s wife is fuming
Black doesn’t know exactly what’s going on between her husband and Miranda, the report alleges, but she knows something is fishy.
“They talk nonstop these days. Since Miranda doesn’t have Blake anymore, she’s relying on Dierks for emotional support. She forgets he’s a married man and thinks it’s perfectly OK to call or text anytime she wants,” an insider says for the publication.
Naturally, Black isn’t exactly happy when this happens and she’s been fighting with Dierks even more on this account.
Star also says that Miranda is making a habit out of sleeping with married men, starting with Blake, who was also taken at the time they got together.
The report claims that, during the marriage, she cheated on him “at least” with five other guys, including Josh Beckett, Jerrod Niemann and some guy who worked for her. That last affair occurred right before Blake pulled the plug on the marriage, the publication claims.
